DALUS is unique! We wanted to take address location and route planning to a whole new level. We have done so by providing an exact database set for all addresses in the UK as a start point. This data is then continuously enhanced by our users over time for the benefit of everyone using the app.
With the ability for users to interact and support our driving community to help each other locate difficult to find or unfamiliar properties, DALUS provides the most extensive and continually evolving source of information for all professional drivers.
Users can add alerts relating to hazards or advice regarding safe access, keeping drivers up to date and aware throughout their journey. We reward our users for helping others too. Those that add information to DALUS have the chance to participate in our regular prize draws with prizes ranging from vouchers to experience days.
GPS co-ordinates to the rooftop of virtually every building in the UK. Decimal GPS co-ordinates are the most useful form of location data as they can be used in any navigation device to provide a pin point position of the destination you are heading to.
Tap the Navigate button and the co-ordinates are automatically uploaded to your device’s navigation App.
In the address record zoom in on the map to see the exact position of your destination relative to surrounding roads and buildings.
All data relating to an address is easily viewed in a single screen. Includes additional information that can be added to help other users with a property’s location and to keep safe.
If your customer is not at a physical address or a mobile one such as a Motorhome or Caravan, you can still get their precise location with DALUS Assist.
You do not need a cell signal to view and update DALUS Information and it will even work in “Flight Mode”.
Five years ago, whilst taking a break from corporate life, our Founder and CEO, took up a part time grocery delivery driver position with a major supermarket. Having experienced many of the difficulties associated with finding addresses and completing deliveries safely, especially in the dark, he set about creating an App that would focus on addressing these issues and help all professional drivers.
Reconnecting with former colleagues in the software industry, a development team was put together to build an App that has the precise location of over 34 million addresses - every building in Great Britain, even those still under construction.
